How full is the building?

The church seats about 220 - the usual attendance is around 140 so plenty of seats to choose from.


Does anyone welcome you personally?

Stewards will welcome you as you come in, do say hello and ask them anything you want to know.


Are the pews comfortable?

Yes, plastic bucket seats with good elbow and knee room.


How would you describe the pre-service atmosphere?

Fairly lively chat, the music group strikes up to focus peoples attention to the main event.


How does the service start?

The music group usually starts a pre service song at 10.25 while the last few come in. The service starts with a welcome from the pastor at 10.30


What books do the congregation use during the service?

The words to the songs were projected via a video projector.


What musical instruments are played?

Two guitars, piano, organ and drums.


Is the worship stiff-upper-lip, happy clappy, or what?

The worship was informal with a mixed band. Songs are a mixture of songs and a few hymns


How long is the sermon?

20 minutes. The service usually takes 70 minutes in all but does vary. The occasional Family services have 10 minute sermons and last no more than 50 minutes


How would you describe the after-service coffee?

Tea and coffee is served in china mugs. There are also biscuits (but not chocolate ones).
